The rate of tax imposed by CMC 3.45.010 shall be one-half of one percent of the selling price or value of the articles used, as the case may be; provided, however, in the event that the county of Wahkiakum shall impose a sales and use tax, the rate of the tax imposed by the town of Cathlamet shall be four hundred twenty-five one-thousandths of one percent.
