(1) The public works department or its designee shall be responsible for responding to complaints regarding open burning. This response may be by phone, in writing, or in person.

(2) The Cathlamet fire department shall be responsible for abating fire safety hazards created by outdoor burning. The Cathlamet fire department shall be notified of all outdoor burning which occurs when a fire safety burn ban is in effect. (Ord. 368 § 8, 1995)
