The following park rules shall be in effect at Erickson Park, Strong Park, Town Hall Pocket Park and any future town parks as determined by resolution of the town council, and shall be posted on signs in substantially the following form:

1. Park Hours: from sunrise to sunset. Students shall not be in any parks unsupervised when school is in session.

2. Alcohol, drugs, weapons, fireworks, and open fires are prohibited in all Town parks.

3. Cooking allowed only in the designated areas.

4. Animals must be leashed and under immediate control at all times. All pet excrement must be removed.

5. Litter should be disposed of in garbage receptacles only. It is unlawful to dispose of personal garbage brought from home in park receptacles.

6. It is unlawful to deface, damage or destroy any public building, fence, table, playground equipment or other structure, or any flowers, shrubs, or trees.

7. Unauthorized motor vehicles are prohibited except in designated parking areas or roadways and only during park hours.

8. Disorderly conduct, amplified sound and unnecessary noise, as defined in Cathlamet Municipal Code Chapter 8.05 is unlawful.

9. Permits are required for special events, group picnics, classes, etc.
